Ruby Eloise Pleake

Ruby Eloise Pleake, 89, Greencastle, formerly of Belle Union, passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 in Greencastle.

She was born on July 21, 1923 in Putnam County, and was the daughter of the late George Thomas and Janie Alvora (Blue) McCammack.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Union Valley Baptist Church at Belle Union.

She is survived by her daughter-in-laws, Shirl Pleake, Carbon, and Rebecca Adamson, Brazil; her grandchildren, Allan Lee Pleake Jr. and wife Penny, Carbon, Ronald Pleake and wife Roxie, Carbon, Jimmy Dale Pleake and wife Laurie, Brazil, Daniel Thomas Pleake, Carbon, Joshua Tylr Pleake and wife Bethany, Carbon and Bryton Velasquel, Carbon and her great-grandchildren, Branon, Michael, Kaitlin, Derek, Hillary, R.J., Jadyn, Krystle, Elizabeth and Maria.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Allan Lee Pleake and Daniel George Pleake.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 18 from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Interment will be in New Providence Cemetery.
