City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to several recent dispatches.

* On Friday, Jan. 4 at 12:40 p.m. firefighters responded to an alarm at 109 E. Hanna St., Building 1. No problem was found and crews cleared the scene at 12:49 p.m.

At 5:18 p.m. personnel assisted with a motor vehicle accident at Zinc Mill Road and State Road 240. They cleared the scene at 5:37 p.m.

* On Saturday, Jan. 5 at 6:32 p.m. GFD was dispatched to assist Reelsville with a structure fire at 4915 S. CR 325 West. Only smoke was found in the house and crews returned at 7:12 p.m.

* On Sunday, Jan. 6 10:13 a.m. fire personnel investigated an alarm at 330 Greenwood Ave., discovering no problem. They returned to station at 10:49 a.m.
