A recent trip to the Banner Graphic let members of Cub Scout Pack 99 know what goes into the printing of the newspaper each day. Led by Banner head pressman Dave Wilde (left) the scouts and a few chaperones got a look at the process from advertising sales through writing and layout all the way to the press. Above, Wilde gives the scouts a peek inside the prepress machine, which makes the metal plates that go on the press for final printing of the newspaper.
