Jennifer Kaye Watson, age 39, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.

Born Feb. 14, 1973 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Opal (Malone) Arnold and was a 1991 graduate of Cloverdale High School.

Jennifer and her husband, Kenneth Watson, shared more than 24 years together and were married on Aug. 8, 1997.

Jennifer was a homemaker and worked at Wal-Mart Distribution for 19 years.

She was a member of the Reelsville United Methodist Church, where she had served as a Sunday school and vacation Bible school teacher.

She was active with the Boy Scouts and was the proud mother of two Eagle Scouts. She was an active volunteer with Putnam County Youth Soccer and the Greencastle Schools.

Family and friends knew Jenni as a loving wife, devoted mother and faithful friend.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Watson; sons Dakota Watson and Brayden Watson of Greencastle; her mother, Opal Arnold of Greencastle; three sisters, Ronetta (Steve) Carroll of McCordsville, Joetta (Mike) Kirkman of Martinsville, and Shelley (Tom) Bradley of Plainfield; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. William Best officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the funeral home.
