Second Legislative Update of 2013 session set for Saturday

The second Putnam County Farm Bureau Legislative Update program of the 2013 session of the Indiana General Assembly is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, beginning in the Farm Bureau boardroom on North Jackson Street in Greencastle.

New State Sens. Pete Miller (R-Avon) and Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) will join District 44 State Rep. Jim Baird (R-Greencastle) in a discussion of the current bills being discussed and debated at the Indiana Statehouse.

The public is invited to attend with coffee and sweet rolls provided.

The third and final Legislative Update program for 2013 will be conducted in conjunction with the Ag Day breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 16 at the Community Building on the fairgrounds.
