Putnam County Museum set to open 2013 Student Art Show on Saturday

Putnam County Museum has announced the opening of the 2013 Student Art Show.

The opening is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23. Prizes, certificates and acknowledgments will be awarded at 11:30.

On display are more than 100 pieces of art crafted by students in grades K-12 and representing all four county school systems as well as home school students.

Admission is free and open to the public. The museum is located at 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.
