Past Presidents Extension Club to sponsor garage sale

The Putnam County Past Presidents Extension Club will be sponsoring its annual garage sale on Saturday, March 2 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the community building at Putnam County Fairgrounds. There will be many booths offering craft items, gently used articles, food products, books and other attractions.

Proceeds from the garage sale are used to help Extension Homemaker clubs and their activities throughout the county. Past Presidents Club membership is composed of former presidents of the Putnam County Extension Council which coordinates the affairs of all county extension clubs.

Extension clubs serve the needs of individuals and the community with donations of time, money, food, clothing and whatever else is required. Club members also enjoy socializing with other members and learning new skills and ideas from lessons at monthly meetings.
