Morgan is the daughter of Roy and Lisa Clark and the granddaughter of Steven and Barbara Clark and Robert and Bonnie Crawley.
While in Australia, Morgan will have the opportunity to learn about Australian nursing including their health care ethics, midwifery practices, the role of being an Australian nurse, the preparation and educational requirements of Australian nurses. Morgan will also have the opportunity to visit the university simulation labs and clinics as well as being introduced to the Australian culture through educational programs.
This opportunity could provide life-changing experiences that will not only allow Morgan to interact with many prominent men and women, but also gain valuable nursing skills and experiences that will be used throughout her life and nursing career.
ISLP nominates exceptional college and university students from around the country to participate in this experiential educational program. ISLP is a non-profit organization with limited scholarships for this program. The program itself costs nearly $5,000 with travel expenses included.
Morgan's family, friends and community members are very proud of her outstanding academic leadership skills and will be hosting a fundraising event on Saturday, March 9 at the Reels-ville Firehouse from 4-6:30 p.m., which will help fund this educational experience.
There will be a free will donation dinner, basket raffle, raffle for a 32-inch flat-screen TV, bingo games and more.
Anyone wishing to support or sponsor Morgan with a monetary donation may do so by making a check payable to: International Scholar Laureate Program. Please send contribution check to Morgan Clark, 6854 S. C.R. 650W, Reelsville, IN 46171.
