Frank C. Hutcheson

Frank C. Hutcheson, 81, of Greencastle, passed away peacefully at his home, Autumn Glen, on Thursday, Feb, 28, 2013.

He was born on April 13, 1931 in Putnam County to Claude and Mary Olive (Hamilton) Hutcheson and was a 1948 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Frank proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1951-53.

Frank returned to Putnam County in 1953 and made his career as a home builder and developer.

He was a life member of the American Legion Post 58, a member of the Masonic Temple Lodge 47, Elks Lodge 1077, and the Greencastle High School Alumni Association.

Sharon, his wife of 47 years preceded him in death Aug. 2, 2012.

He is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Jack) Stohr and Terri (Larry) Wicker; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Paul Bowen officiating.

Interment with military honors will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 at the funeral home.
