A special message from the national champion DePauw Tigers

DePauw sophomore guard Lauren Abendroth has been writing a motivational poem before each of her teams' games since high school. When she was asked to provide about her team's championship season, she jumped at the chance.

This weekend truly had a fairy tale ending,
You can even check twitter; our team is trending.
We headed to Holland with one goal in mind,
Every since day one the tigers have been on a grind.

34-0...looks like we accomplished the perfect season,
I couldn't be happier for any other reason,
We were studs from the start you can even check the stats,
Then take a look at our National Championship hats.

The team has been sticky right from the start,
We all love each other from the bottom of our hearts.
But without the best coaching staff around town,
We'd be running around the court like a bunch of clueless clowns.

Not to mention our fans who helped us at home,
Lilly was rocking we never felt alone.
And Stevie who made everything so great,
Or our stellar seniors--Ellie, Kat, and Kate.

This season has me speechless--a dream come true,
19 girls on the bus without one of us looking blue.
We've all had a blast making history as one,
National champs baby it's been too much fun.
