A Touch of Spring

Putnam County residents got their first taste of spring on Wednesday with the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days. Mill Pond Health Campus residents each received a bundle of daffodils, along with 60 businesses, in an effort to brighten up the community. It was the first year the program was coordinated by Mill Pond, which was planned by Community Relations Director Brooke Trissel. All proceeds of the sale go to benefit the American Cancer Society. Mill Pond resident Emma Smedley was one of the first to receive her daffodils from Trissel.
