North Putnam sets kindergarten round-up for Wednesday, April 17

The North Putnam School Corporation will host kindergarten round-up at its two elementary schools simultaneously on Wednesday, April 17.

Bainbridge and Roachdale elementary schools will host their kindergarten round-ups at 6 p.m. that evening.

Parents should enroll their children at Bainbridge Elementary or Roachdale Elementary depending on where they reside.

Children should accompany their parents to round-up because they will be meeting the teachers and learning about school.

The round-up will last 60 to 90 minutes.

Children who will be five years of age on or before Aug. 1, 2013 are eligible to enter the kindergarten class for next year.

Parents must bring a legal birth certificate and proof of immunizations.

Attendance at kindergarten round-up is important. However those unable to attend should contact the respective school offices to verify their child's placement in kindergarten for 2013-14.
