Quail Forever group to provide free food plot seed on Saturday

The West Central Chapter of Quail Forever (formerly "Quail Unlimited") is sponsoring the distribution of free food plot seed on Saturday, April 13.

The giveaway is scheduled from 9 a.m. through noon in the northeast corner of the Dollar General store parking lot on Indianapolis Road, Greencastle.

Bagged seeds of milo, field corn, soybeans, wheat and sunflowers will be distributed. All seed is to be planted for protective game food and cover only.

A food plot information and instruction sheet will be handed out as well as Quail Forever membership forms for those who would like to join the local chapter.
