EMINENCE -- The North Putnam baseball team has yet to lose this season, but after Tuesday night they haven't won all their games, either.

The Cougars tied Eminence, 2-2, in nine innings in a game called due to darkness.

Junior Beau Green threw a complete game for NPHS, allowing two runs and three hits on 115 pitches.

He struck out 17 hitters and allowed just one walk.

North Putnam opened the scoring in the second inning when Brody Perrine walked and stole second base. Junior Jordan Nauert grounded out to third, but a throwing error scored Perrine.

After a pair of Eels' runs in the fourth, NPHS tied the score in the top of the seventh when Coy Flynn doubled to score Nauert.

Eminence pitcher Kevin Haymond also threw a complete game, striking out 12 and a walking five.

Weather permitting, the Cougars will host Rockville on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
