Cloverdale health fair a success

The Cloverdale Middle School recently held a health fair in which students got to learn about a variety of things pertaining to staying healthy and active as well as several careers in the health field including learning about overall health from Lou Fordice (left) of the Putnam County Hospital.

The Cloverdale Middle School recently held a health fair in which a wide variety of vendors attended, bringing their expertise and handouts.

The health fair ran from 8:30-11:30 a.m. with 400 students in grades 5 through 8 attending.

Among the vendors participating were: Area 30 Health Careers Class, Putnam County Hospital Cancer Center, Elliot Optometry, Putnam County Health Department, US Army Corp of Engineers, Operation Life, Indiana State Police, Cloverdale Fire Department, Payton Manning Children's Hospital- St. Vincent, Lita Sandy/Zumba, Jump for Heart the American Heart Association, FarmLand/Ritchie Marketing, Cloverdale High School SADD, Anastasia Barkley Athletic Trainer, CMS Ag Class and Mrs. Butler's Nutrition Table.
