The Extension Homemakers group of Indiana is celebrating 100 years of membership. From its inception in 1913 through today, the groups have been active and vital in the community.

To honor this achievement the Putnam County Museum will be displaying an exhibit highlighting the years of Extension clubs' existence.

The display will include two wedding dresses from different eras, examples of projects each club has completed, and variety of other artifacts through the years.

There will be an exhibit open house from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at the museum, 1105 N. Jackson St. Light refreshments will be available.

Members of county home Extension groups will be on hand to share their experiences through the years. This event is free and open to the community.

The exhibit will run through the end of July.

Anyone with questions may contact the Putnam County Museum at 653-8419.
