Noble to take PCPL audience on road to Morocco April 25

Terry Noble will be presenting a speech about Morocco at the Putnam County Library Passport Travel talk on Thursday, April 25.

The Putnam County Public Library will welcome Terry Noble on Thursday, April 25 to give a noon Passport Travel talk on Morocco.

Cookies and drinks will be provided for the Brown Bag lunch event, the library's second Passport event of the spring.

Noble, who spent last January in Morocco, describes it as "an immersive, intense and amazing experience," and a trip she documented with more than 1,300 photos.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Noble has lived in Greencastle since 1982.

She graduated summa cum laude from DePauw University in 2003 with majors in geography and in anthropology. Noble began working at DePauw in 1986, and is currently manager of the music library.

She is a board member of Horizons Adult Education through which teaches a course on the geography of Indiana, an active member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and The Labyrinth Society.

Noble also serves on the Friends of the Library's board of directors.

Attendees can pick up a "passport" at this event and have it stamped to be eligible for prizes to be awarded in June.
