Forrest R. 'Bob' Burton

Forrest R. "Bob" Burton, 60, of Plainfield and formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013.

Bob was born on Jan. 10, 1953 in Greencastle to Charles Gerald Burton Sr. and Margaret Hall Burton.

He was an insulation contractor by trade.

His parents and two nephews, Steven Michael Newgent and Curt B. Newgent, preceded him in death.

Surviving are his children, Melissa Ash and husband Jason, Chris Burton and Chad Burton; a brother, Charles G. "Charlie" Burton Jr.; three sisters, Linda Swartz, Darlene Gibbs and Kathy Wolf; and 10 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 26 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.

Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
