Victims' Rights Week

Wednesday, April 24, 2013
Joining forces with other agencies, service providers and concerned citizens around the country, the Putnam County Prosecutor's Office is marking the week of April 21-27 as National Crime Victims' Rights Week. Prosecutor Tim Bookwalter (standing, left) and Victims' Rights Director Tracy Bridges (standing, right) recently joined county commissioners (from left) David Berry, Nancy Fogle and Don Walton as they proclaim this week as Crime Victims' Rights Week in Putnam County. The week has been commemorated nationwide since the early 1980s as part of a movement of thousands of victim assistance programs providing help and support to child and adult victims of violent crimes.
