GFD to host 14th annual golf scramble

The Greencastle Fire Department will host its 14th annual golf scramble on Sunday, May 19 at the Windy Hill Country Club.

Two flights of competition are set with the first having registration at 7:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The second flight will begin at 2 p.m. with registration at 1:30. Play is limited to one flight per player.

Interested participants can pick up entry forms at Windy Hill and the Greencastle Fire Department. Entries are limited to the first 14 teams per flight.

Each team must include four players. Registration is $50 per player or $200 per team. Mulligans are $5 each, limited to two per player.

Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt. There will be a $700 reward for the first-place team, $500 for second and $300 for third.

All proceeds will be donated to the Hoosier Burn Camp. To sponsor a hole it is $60 each or two for $100.
