Greencastle senior Carter Lewis made the Indiana wrestling state finals as a junior and was a star on the Tiger Cubs' record-setting football team as a senior.

He suffered an injury and missed the second half of the football season, but he returned to have another successful year as a wrestler as a senior.

Lewis was a talented enough prospect to have a choice for where he went to college and he recently settled on the Indiana Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne.

"It's a really nice school and a really clean campus," Lewis said. "I liked the coach and fit in with the team."

He's unsure what weight Indiana Tech will use him at -- it could be anywhere from 164-184 -- but he's excited to continue his career in a sport he loves.

"I just like the competition," Lewis said. "And getting your hand raised."
