Match Game

Wednesday, May 1, 2013
The live auction fundraising event The Match raised more than $11,000 for the Putnam County Museum Friday night at the Bainbridge Community Building. That total will be matched in half through the Romine Matching Challenge. Rick Parent (above) of Sellabration Auctions provided auctioneering services as assistant museum director Sarah Myers models beekeeping attire while beekeeping lessons from Lance and Elaine Myers were being auctioned. Museum President Emily Knuth later welcomed Malcolm Romine to the stage to say a few words. Romine has pledged up to $50,000 through the Romine Matching Challenge with a total goal of $150,000.
