Beautifying the Community

Students in the Old National Trail (ONT) Special Services Cooperative landscaping class recently spent the better part of an afternoon reworking the landscaping of the DePauw University Alpha Phi sorority house, located on the corner of Hanna and Locust streets. Several students, Desiree Gilbert, Tommy Beasley, Todd Beasley, Brandon O'Brien, Shadrack Heagy and Patrick Hoffa finished up their day by installing flowers around the sorority's sign. The class is instructed by Steve Westell, Chris Elsbrock and Trevor Ehmen takes on jobs around the community in hopes of teaching the students a good work ethic.
