Supporting Burn Camp

With the 14th annual Greencastle Fire Department Golf Scramble set for next weekend, Carpenters Local 859 recently made a donation to the effort, with union representative Dave Wells (right) presenting the check to firefighter Jeff Elkins. The scramble, whose proceeds will be donated to the Hoosier Burn Camp, is slated for Sunday, May 19 at Windy Hill Country Club. Two flights of competition are set with the first having registration at 7:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The second flight will begin at 2 p.m. with registration at 1:30. Play is limited to one flight per player. Interested participants can pick up entry forms at Windy Hill and the Greencastle Fire Department. Entries are limited to the first 14 teams per flight. Each team must include four players. Registration is $50 per player or $200 per team. Mulligans are $5 each, limited to two per player. To sponsor a hole it is $60 each or two for $100.
