Monday, May 20, 2013

On Wednesday, May 29, Dr. John Stephens with Dermatology Inc. will be conducting free skin cancer screens at Putnam County Hospital.

The screen is a bi-annual event that is sponsored by the Putnam County Hospital Cancer Center.

"Early detection is the key to treating melanoma," Lou Fordice, LPN, stressed. "We offer the free screen to encourage more people to take an interest in their health and to protect themselves from cancer."

The screen will be conducted by appointment only.

To schedule a skin cancer screen, persons may contact the PCH Cancer Center at 655-2581.

The screens will take place from 3-5 p.m. on May 29 in the first-floor clinic at the hospital.

  • Wish they would do that in TH, Brazil, or Clinton.
