Lawn Chair Worship scheduled for June, July

Each Sunday at 8 a.m., the public is invited to attend a 30-minute outdoor service of singing, prayer and meditation.

Hosted by First Christian Church and Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church, Lawn Chair Worship will take place through June and July in Bowman Park, at the corner of Hanna and Locust streets.

There are already chairs available, so worshippers don't actually need to bring their own lawn chairs.

Everyone is invited to these outdoor worship services where the music of birds join with the songs of the people.

For the month of June the rain location is Gobin UMC and for the month of July the rain location is First Christian.
