Celebrate Kids Fishing Day with a Kids Fishing Derby

Join Greencastle Parks and Recreation at Jaycee Park on Saturday, June 8 for a kids fishing derby.

This event will offer the Kids All-American Fishing Derby, Kids Casting, Biggest Fish, Smallest Fish, Most Fish Contests and Huckleberry Finn Costume Contest.

The derby is sponsored by Wal-Mart, Carpenter Realtors, Friends of the Park and the Greencastle Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.

Registration for the derby begins at 7:30 a.m. and the contest will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Registration for the event is free.
