City Police

* At 6:18 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Jeff Modlin responded to a domestic incident in the parking lot of the State Farm agency on South Jackson Street.

He arrested Jerod Greunholz, 39, of Greencastle, for battery with bodily injury.

One ticket was also issued by GPD on Tuesday.

* At 11:45 p.m. Officer Nick Eastham cited Nicholas Collins, 19, Mooresville, on Bloomington Street for expired license plates. The tags expired in March.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department has responded to five recent dispatches.

* At 1:17 p.m. Tuesday, GFD was dispatched to Tzouanakis Intermediate School, 500 Linwood Dr., for a fire alarm. Crews were disregarded en route at 1:18 p.m. Maintenance workers were testing the system.

At 2:11 p.m. firefighters performed a carbon monoxide investigation at 1106 Castlebury Dr. Finding no problems, they returned to station at 2:52 p.m.

At 8:41 p.m. crews performed a smoke investigation at 23 Sunset Dr. No problem was located and they cleared the scene at 9:10 p.m.

* At 8:51 a.m. Wednesday, responders were called to a small fuel spill at the Phillips 66 station on North Jackson Street. After containing the spill and cleaning the area, crews remained on scene to wait for maintenance to arrive. They returned to station at 11:05 a.m.

At 2 p.m. firefighters were again called to Tzouanakis, but were disregarded before leaving station at 2 p.m.
