Teen summer reading program to begin at PCPL

The Teen Summer Reading program kicks off on Monday, June 17, at the Putnam County Public Library.

Teens entering grades 7 -- 12, or just having completed grade 12 are eligible. Prizes will be awarded for each book or magazine articles read totaling 100 pages or more, with no more than one prize awarded per week.

A first round grand prize drawing will be held for those who have read a total of three books or magazine articles totaling 300 pages or more by Wednesday, July 10.

A final grand prize drawing will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from entrants who have met the required reading of 600 pages or more.
