County Jail

* At 5:35 a.m. on Friday Lucas Jayaaron Rybolt, 22, Coal Station, was charged with two counts of resisting law enforcement and driving with a suspended license.

* At 8:45 a.m. on Friday Jenneya Marie Bruce, 30, Reelsville, was charged with operating while intoxicated and public intoxication.

* At 1:45 a.m. on Saturday Ryan Gerald Murray, 29, Kansas City, Mo., was charged with battery and disorderly conduct.

* At 12:01 a.m. on Sunday Jason David Grimes, 28, Greencastle, was charged with operating while intoxicated, disorderly conduct, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and resisting law enforcement.

* At 10:27 a.m. on Monday Toby Curry, 36, Mooresville, was charged with criminal confinement of an adult, battery, battery resulting in bodily injury, intimidation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

* At 11:45 p.m. on Monday at Daniel Allen Owens, 45, Reelsville, was charged with public intoxication.

* At 12:44 a.m. on Tuesday Victoria Sue Marie Corder, 23, Greencastle, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

* At 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday Chelseii Eden Reynolds, 23, Danville was charged with theft.

Sheriff's Department

* At 5:05 p.m. on Thursday Shawn A. Krockenberger, 42, West Terre Haute, was northbound on State Road 243, in a 1995 Freightliner UNK, when he stopped at the intersection of U.S. 40.

Meanwhile, Jade S. Reedy, 42, Brazil, in 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Lt., was eastbound on U.S. 40.

Krockenberger advised to Chief Deputy Tom Helmer that he was attempting to turn left (west) onto U.S. 40 and another vehicle, a semi-trailer, that was eastbound was attempting to turn right (south) on State Road 243, stopped in the eastbound lane to allow him to enter U.S. 40.

Krockenberger went on to say that the semi driver motioned him to proceed. As he was turning left Reedy swerved past the stopped semi and was struck in the right rear by Krockenberger.

He advised that he never saw Reedy and was not aware of the collision until he was at Lincoln Park Speedway just west of the collision scene where Reedy confronted him.

Krockenberger advised Helmer that Reedy had to swerve into the westbound lanes of U.S. 40 due to the fact the impact was with Krockenberger's right front and Reedy's right rear.

No injuries were reported.

Damage was estimated at $1,001-$2,500.

* At 4:25 on Friday Daniel J. Naso, 50, Gloucester, Va., was wesbound on Interstate 70 near the 38 mile-marker when he observed a large object in the road. Naso, driving a 2007 Peterbilt-Motors 387, swerved to miss the object, but was too late.

Naso struck the object, a large steel dumpster, with the driver's side front fender, causing damage to the vehicle. The dumpster was said to have fallen off another vehicle.

Damage was estimated at $5,001-$10,000.

Naso's Peterbilt-Motors truck is owned by Northern Neck Transfer Inc. of King George, Va.

* At 4:45 a.m. on Friday Brian S. Stearly, 34, Reelsville, was eastbound on County Road 1050 South when he crested a hill and saw a tree blocking both lanes of traffic.

Stearly tried to avoid the tree on his 1995 Suzuki VS 1400 Series, but was too late. He stated to Deputy Mike Downing that stuck the tree throwing him from his motorcycle.

Damage was estimated at $5,001-$10,000.

* At 7:45 a.m. on Friday Shelby K. Bonebrake, 17, Greencastle, turned north on County Road 650 East from County Road 300 South, in a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT, when she swerved to miss a squirrel that was in the road and lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle then traveled off the east side of the roadway and down into a ravine. Bonebrake struck and embankment, rotating clockwise and came to rest against a tree facing a southeasterly direction.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

* At 4:14 a.m. on Saturday Laura A. Goolsby, 34, Russellville, was eastbound on State Road 236 in a 1999 Mercury Nautica Villager.

Goolsby told investigating officer Deputy Matt Biggs that a deer crossed into the roadway and she was unable to avoid it.

The deer hit the center of the hood, which caused it to travel up over the top of the vehicle.

No injuries were reported and Goolsby refused medical treatment.

Damage was estimated at $5,001-$10,000.

* At 7:40 a.m. on Monday Robert S. Kirsch, 44, Cloverdale, was traveling on U.S. 231 South near County Road 1200 South in a 1996 Ford F250.

Kirsch stated that a vehicle in front of Jacob Helton Ganz, 20, Spencer, slowed then turned right into a driveway and he didn't have time to stop before rear-ending Ganz who was driving a 2008 Jeep Wrangler.

No injuries were reported.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.
