County Jail

* At 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Timothy Lee Miller, 43, Greencastle, was booked in on charges of operating while intoxicated, two counts of resisting law enforcement, criminal recklessness and operating while intoxicated.

* At 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Austin Ray Chadd, 19, Greencastle, was charged with a probation violation.

* At 4:15 a.m. on Thursday, Macy Alan Fordice, 27, Greencastle, was charged with operating while intoxicated.

Sheriff's Department

* At 9:21 a.m. on Tuesday, Matthew R. Davidson, 20, Cloverdale, was traveling westbound on U.S. 40 just east of County Road 725 East in a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT.

Davidson stated to Deputy Ronnie Campbell that he was driving home from work and fell asleep behind the wheel.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

* At 9:58 a.m. on Tuesday, Nathan B. Fox, 25, Rosedale, was southbound on U.S. 231 just north of U.S. 36 in a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado 4x2.

Fox stated to Deputy Ronnie Campbell that he was driving home from work and fell asleep behind the wheel.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

* At 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Cheri R. Campbell, 66, Bloomfield, was northbound on U.S. 231 just north of County Road 1300 North in a 2000 Ford Windstar.

Campbell stated to stated to Deputy Ronnie Campbell that she had fallen asleep at the wheel. Campbell ended up going through a fence and into a ditch.

Damage was estimated at $1,001-$2,500.

* At 2:46 p.m. on Wednesday, Jonathan S. Parker, 25, Fillmore, was slowing down on County Road 75 North to make a left hand turn onto County Road 400 South in a 2006 Ford F250.

Parker stated to Deputy Josh Boller that at that time, he heard a loud noise behind him, which he advised it was Jackie L. Cox, 74, Coatesville attempting to slow down.

Cox advised he was traveling eastbound on County Road 75 North, in a 2007 GM Sierra Crew Cab, and for some unknown reason he didn't notice Parker slowing down to make a left hand turn. Therefore, he strongly applied the breaks attempting to avoid a collision but couldn't.

Damage was estimated at $5,001-$10,000.
