Turning Point's young founder to speak at Defenders of Liberty

Charlie Kirk, a 19-year-old from the Chicagoland area, is the founder and executive director of Turning Point USA. He will be the guest speaker at the Greencastle Defenders of Liberty meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 8, at the Putnam County Airport, Dixie Chopper Business Center, 102 Ballard Lane, Greencastle.

Turning Point USA is a national student organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and energizing young people about free markets, capitalism, and fiscal responsibility. It is represented at more than 105 colleges and high schools all across the country. The website is: www.turningpointusa.net.

In addition to youth activism, Kirk has been on Fox News more than 20 times and was honored to emcee CPAC 2013 in Washington, D.C. He introduced Governor Scott Walker, Newt Gingrich, and Michelle Bachmann at CPAC.
