Greencastle 12U fast pitch softball team wins tournament at Eminence

The Greencastle 12U fast pitch softball team, sponsored by HMSB Insurance Services, won its year-end tournament at Eminence on Sunday, July 7.

The team lost to Cloverdale in an early round, then came back from the consolation bracket to beat Cloverdale in the semifinal. In the championship matchup of the double-elimination tournament, Greencastle was matched with undefeated Eminence.

Greencastle won back-to-back games, outlasting Eminence in the bottom of the seventh, 7-6.
