Viola Mae Boller

Viola Mae Boller, 76, of Bainbridge, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, July 17, 2013.

Born Sept. 22, 1936 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Elijah and Afton (Holcomb) Boller and was a 1954 graduate of Russellville High School.

Viola had owned and operated Vi's Café in Hollandsburg and was a co-owner of the BonTon Diner in Bainbridge. She was a member of the Bainbridge Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Anna Harpold of Bainbridge, Nancy (Brien) Holsapple of Roachdale, Susie (Brian) Stephenson of Coatesville and Rodney (Alexa) Davis of Torrance, Calif.; a brother, Ray (Nina) Boller of Bainbridge; eight grandchildren, Jessica (A.J.) Gordon, Justin Harpold, Emmett and Emma Holsapple, Blake and Briana Stephenson, Elyse and Paige Davis; a great-grandchild, Kyndal Gordon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Raymond Davis; parents; a sister, Betty Williams; and four brothers, Charles, Wayne, Elijah Jr. and Bill Boller.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Huxford officiating. Interment will follow at the Blakesburg Cemetery, Fincastle.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, July 22 at the funeral home.
