Sports injury clinics to be held in Hendricks for youth

DANVILLE -- Hendricks Orthopedics and Sports Medicine will host Saturday morning sports injury clinics for high school athletes. The walk-in clinics will take place from 8-9 a.m. Aug. 17 through Oct. 26, at 100 Hospital Lane, Suite 300, Danville.

On-site physicians will be able to treat new and chronic injuries in high school athletes. To learn more, call (317) 718-4676.

Physicians providing care at the Saturday morning sports injury clinics include:

Kyle Ritter, M.D. -- Dr. Ritter graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.

Chad Waits, M.D. -- Dr. Waits is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Waits completed his fellowship training in sports medicine at Wellington Orthopedics and University of Cincinnati.

Brad Prather, M.D. -- Dr. Prather specializes in total joint replacements, revisions and joint preservation. He is one of only a few physicians in Indiana trained in the direct anterior approach to total hip replacement.

He graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine and received specialized fellowship training at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas.
