Boomers and Beyond group at PCPL set to talk about Dog Days, genealogy

Boomers and Beyond will meet on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Putnam County Public Library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle.

The discussion topic for the get-together will be the Dog Days of Summer. All are welcome to share stories or simply listen and enjoy the company.

Additionally, this program will feature a make-your-own-ice cream sundae bar.

Genealogy will be the Boomers and Beyond topic on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 2-3:30 p.m.

Diana Brumfeld from the Local History and Genealogy Department at PCPL will give a presentation on how to pursue research and will answer questions.

Boomers and Beyond is a free Putnam County Public Library program for those aged 50 and better that provides the opportunity to socialize, share stories, to hear interesting presentations and engage in workshops.
