The Boys of Summer

As has been tradition for seven summers now, Greencastle favorite the Average House Band is back at the Inn at DePauw again this weekend for two nights only. On Friday night, their trademarks were all on display, including the Danny Martin's (above) wide-brimmed hat and showmanship, the harmonies of Bill Hamm and Steve Michael (above, right), along with the rhythm section of Hamm, Fred Badalli (above, right) and Rod Kersey (not pictured) and dynamite guitar work from Sandy Williams (right) and Michael. The band will be back on stage again tonight at 9 p.m., with doors opening at 8 p.m. After that, the mink coat will go back in the closet for another year.
