William 'Bill' Haltom

William Reese "Bill" Haltom, 72, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, in Brazil, Ind., after a long illness.

He was born April 17, 1941, in Brazil to Reese Haltom and Selma Senter Haltom.

Mr. Haltom was a retired fork truck driver for IAC and was a member of United Auto Workers Local 2382.

He graduated from Reelsville High School in 1959 and attended Purdue University.

He was a longtime fan of Indiana University basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Mr. Haltom is survived by his wife, Margaret; his children, Lisa Stuckey and husband David, Lora Kemp and husband Kurt, Will Haltom, Amy McNary and husband James, Andrew "Andy Bill" Haltom and wife Caesia, Jack Haltom; a stepson, Jason Waller; five grandchildren, Sasha, Jasmine, and Natalie Stuckey; Mahailee Kemp; and Camden Haltom; and one great-grandchild,Acacia Wysk.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ron Haltom.

Arrangements for gravesides service at Cloverdale Cemetery are pending with Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
