North Putnam's two-person girls' golf team brought a solid performance at the four-team match at Southmont on Wednesday.

Olivia Zarate and Jessie Cox each had solid evenings, shooting a 53 at the nine-hole event.

The individual scores tied both the Cougar golfers for ninth overall.

Southmont won the team event, finishing with a four-player total of 191.

The Mounties were led by Chelsey Smith's 41, which earned her medalist honors.

Seeger finished in second place with a 202 and Rockville was third at 209.

NPHS is back in action on Monday at Northview at 4:30 p.m.
