Fadie 'Peggy' Beatrice Hargett

Fadie "Peggy" Beatrice Hargett, 85, of Pageland, S.C., died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late John Buford Steen and Nora Belle Steen.

Ms. Hargett was preceded in death by her husband, James Wade Hargett, and daughter Martha Sue Hargett Plyler.

Survivors include two sons, Walter "Wylie" Hargett (Susie), Pageland, S.C., and Jimmie Hargett (Donna, formerly of Greencastle), Pageland, S.C.; a sister, Bonnie Steen, Pageland, S.C.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 at Baumgartner Funeral Home, Pageland, S.C.

Interment will follow at Zion United Memorial Church Cemetery.

Visitation is set for 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 at the funeral home.
