Bleeding for a Cause

As Riva Oellig (above, right) talks her through the process, Ashley Wagner of Greencastle donates blood during the Bloodmobile's Friday visit to Heather Taylor State Farm Insurance in Greencastle. The well-attended blood drive was in honor Ashley's and husband Jacob's son Jace (below), who is in need of a serious operation on his skull. It is unknown how much blood will be needed for the operation, which will take around eight hours, so Taylor volunteered her agency's parking lot as a place for community members to donate to help save lives of patients like Jace.
