Care Net Pregnancy Center of Putnam County has announced it will conduct its annual Walk for Life on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Robe-Ann Park.

The Walk for Life will begin at shelterhouse No. 5 near the Emerald Palace playground at the north end of the park.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:30. Participants may call the CPC or stop by during office hours to receive a Walk for Life brochure.

The Walk for Life is only two miles, making it easy for walkers of all ages and abilities to participate. Walkers simply need to ask friends and family to sponsor them with a single, tax-deductible gift for their participation in the walk.

Walkers are not required to collect money from their sponsors. Any walker raising a total of $200 or more will receive a commemorative Walk for Life T-shirt.
