* At 11:58 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, David W. Bault, 41, Gosport, was northbound on U.S. 231, attempting to make a left turn onto the westbound Interstate 70 on ramp in a 2001 Dodge Ram. David L. Hicks, 56, Gosport, was southbound at the intersection in a 2007 Toyota Tundra.

Bault turned in front of Hicks, and according to a witnesss, Hicks had the green light.

Hicks struck Bault's truck on the passenger side, Deputy Ronnie Campbell reported.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

* At 4:12 a.m. Friday, Tyler W. Edwards, 19, Roachdale, was eastbound on County Road 210 North in a 2000 Jeep Cherokee.

As he approached a 90-degree turn, Edwards braked but lost control of the vehicle in the gravel.

The vehicle left the east side of the road and went down an embankment. It rolled onto its passenger side, coming to rest against several small trees.

Edwards was able to climb from the vehicle and get help.

Deputy Mike Downing reported damage at $1,001-$2,500.

* At 6:41 a.m. Tuesday, Frank C. Stanfield, 57, Cloverdale, was eastbound on County Road 1000 South just west of State Road 243 on a 1992 AMF FLH Series motorcycle.

Patricia A. Evans, 66, Cloverdale, pulled up to the stopsign in a 2007 Buick Lucerne and, for an unknown reason, turned in front of Stanfield, colliding head on with his motorcycle.

Stanfield was taken to Putnam County Hospital with injuries to his abdomen and pelvis.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.

* At 6:11 p.m. on Tuesday, Casey S. Rossok, 25, Greencastle, was southbound on County Road 500 West in a 2007 Ford Edge when a storm blew off the top of a tree, which then struck and shattered Rossok's windshield before bouncing across the roof of the vehicle.

Rossok kept control of the vehicle and pulled to the side of the road.

Deputy Campbell reported that Rossok was treated at the scene for multiple pieces of glass in her face.

Her two children were examined and found to be uninjured. All three were released at the scene.

Damage was estimated at $2,501-$5,000.
