GHS tennis loses at North Montgomery

The Greencastle boys tennis team lost at North Montgomery 4-1 on Thursday.

The Tiger Cubs' solo victory came from Jed Fajt at No. 3 singles, who won his match against Luke Weliever 7-5, 7-5.

No. 1 singles Jason Ummel, 3-and-3 to Nelson Harpham, No. 2 singles Chirstian Ritchey, 0-and-1 to Jimmy Lowe, No. 1 doubles Jake Mangrum and Kaleb Fleming, 1-and-2 to Gavin Gates and Luke Spencer, and No. 2 doubles Lucas Eckrich and Nathan Gobert, 2-and-2 to Zach Walk and Mitch Merica, all lost in straight sets.

The Tigers Cubs travel to Terre Haute South on Saturday to play in the Terre Haute South Invitational at 9 a.m.
