Eighth-grade Clovers lose first game

The Cloverdale eighth grade football team lost its first game of the season 32-6 against Monrovia on Thursday.
The Clovers only score came on a kick return by Haiden Harbert-Davis in the second quarter.
"This team of Monrovia stopped us on offense and in every phase of the game," coach Boyette said.
Cloverdale (3-1) hosts South Putnam next Thursday.
The seventh-graders (1-3) also lost to Monrovia, 26-6.
