National Child Passenger Safety Week

With National Child Passenger Safety Week slated for this week (Sept. 15-21), Mayor Sue Murray (seated left) signs a proclamation recognizing the week in the City of Greencastle, as well as Tuesday, Sept. 17 as Seat Check Safety Day. On Tuesday, technicians will be checking for proper installation and use of car seats at the Putnam County Hospital between 5 and 8 p.m. Representing the Greencastle Police Department, which sponsors the seat check program, are program coordinator Darcy Hendershot seated, along with Chief Tom Sutherlin (standing left) and Capt. Chris Jones.
