Caroline S. Mascoe

Caroline S. Mascoe, age 71, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013.

Born Nov. 23, 1941 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Arnold C. and Violet (Baker) Catt.

Caroline married Larry Mascoe on Aug. 11, 1962, and was a homemaker. Larry preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by her daughters, Buffy Wilkerson, Tomeeka (Daniel) Gross, and Regina (Johnny) Walker; sisters Sharon Mascoe, Ginnie Jaquess and Dorothy Ann (Richard) Weasner; grandchildren Nick Grimes, Aaron Long, Micah Means, Tristan Gross, Keegan Gross, Xander Gross and Deacon Gross; and a great-granddaughter Katherine "Hootie" Long.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son Arthur Mascoe; daughter Sherri Means; and brothers, Carl and Chuck Catt.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Clinton Falls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19 until time of service.
