Fuetter qualifies for golf regionals

BRAZIL -- Cloverdale sophomore Harlee Fuetter finished with a round of 90 at the 18-hole Northview girls' golf sectional at Forest Park Golf Course on Saturday, qualifying her to compete in regionals next Saturday.

Fuetter's score put her among the top three scores for individuals whose team didn't qualify. She was the only Putnam County golfer to advance past sectional play.

The Roncali Regional, where Fuetter will compete, is played at Smock Golf Course on the south side of Indianapolis. Tee times have not been set, but play begins at 8 a.m.

As a team Cloverdale finished the postseason event in fifth place. Greencastle was sixth and South Putnam seventh at the nine-school sectional.
