7th-grade Clovers place second at invite

CLOVERDALE -- The Clovers' seventh grade volleyball team placed second at the Cloverdale Volleyball Invitation on Saturday.

Leading the Clovers at the serving line were Tori Combs with 21 points, Mackenzie Westell with 18 points, Hannah Rady with 15 points, Kayla Perdue with 14 points, Jaylen Hughbanks with 10 points, Morgan Allen with nine points and Haley Maners with five points.

The Clovers defested Monrovia 23-25, 25-15, 15-9 and lost to tournament-champion Tri-West in the finals 25-13, 25-22. Monrovia placed third and Cascade fourth.
