Eloise Mae Neier, 74, of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 29, 1939 in Greencastle to Edwin Worthington Gardner and Thelma C. Frazier Gardner.

Mrs. Neier was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Gerald "Jack" Cox in 1968 and Roland Neier in 1996; a brother, Edwin "Bud" Gardner, and a sister, Thelma Jean Cox.

Surviving are her children, Darla Quinn and husband David of Cartersburg, Loretta Mifflin of Coatesville, Michael Cox and wife Barbara of Sevierville, Tenn., Adele Anger and husband Daniel of Pittsboro, David Cox and wife Mia of Coatesville, and Jack Cox and wife Dee of Moberly, Mo.; stepchildren Robert Neier and wife Traci of Plainfield, Rhonda Mendenhall and husband Jerald of Coatesville, Ray Neier and wife Judy of Roachdale, Rita Crawford and husband Greg of St. Augustine, Fla., and Richard Neier and wife Lisa of Coatesville; a sister, Mary Lou James and husband William of Beech Grove; two brothers, Russell Gardner and wife Karen of Lebanon and William Gardner and wife Mae of Los Angeles; 43 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at First Baptist Church of Greencastle, 404 Judson Drive, with Pastor Rick Arrowood of Cross Pointe Baptist Church officiating.

Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at the church.
